My keyboard and mouse work fine in bios. At the windows screen with date and time my keyboard and mouse do nothing. I can't even get to the next screen to enter my pin. I apologize for the delayed response. It must be unfortunate that you are still facing the same issue. Let me help you. Should I try and download windows 10 using the creation tool using my tablet, create a bootable USB and try and reinstall it again? Don't really wanna loose all my files but if I gotta get my PC back working I will. Will this then ask me for a product key even though I've already got windows 10 installed?

Can't get into bios to change boot order to use repair disk, can't even get into safe mode because both require pushing the f8 or f12 buttons.. I'm stumped.. I ended up taking it to the shop and the guy there hooked up a ps2 keyboard and it worked then he hooked up a mouse later.
He said you have to power of pc before connecting ps2 keyboard or the computer won't detect it. With a keyboard he was able to go into device manager and get the wireless stuff back up and running. Don't ask me all that he did because I couldn't really tell for certain.

This issue is sometimes caused by a poor connection between your PC and keyboard, or, in some cases, it could be a problem with your USB port.
Luckily, to fix this is easy: simply unplug your keyboard and then plug it back in another USB port to see if your keyboard is working. You can replace them with brand new ones to see if that resolves your problem. I had a hard drive fail on my acer rl I took it to the shop they installed a new HD and W Then the tech showed me the unit was running and connected to wifi all checked out well. So he shut it down, I paid my bill, brought it home started up the unit and it booted to windows and no keyboard or mouse worked.

He called me back to pick it up and sure enough it worked he even turned it off and back on with my keyboard and mouse. Worked fine. I brought it back home and it did not recognize the kb or mouse.
